The following skilled nursing services are available at our rehabilitation center:
- Medical Director coordinates and improves medical services
- Choice of doctors from an approved list
- The Director of Nursing oversees all aspects of healthcare within the facility
- Individualized resident care plan treatments
- Dementia care
- IV infusion services
- Oxygen therapy
- Wound care is provided by a wound care physician or specially trained wound care nurse
- Nutrition therapy and enteral feeding
- Medication management & education
- Diabetic Management & education

Restorative Nursing for Long-Term Care
At Westwood Village Nursing and Rehabilitation, we seek to maximize the quality of life for our long-term care population, who require a specialized restorative program. Of course, this service is included in the room and board fee.
The therapy team and nursing staff develop individualized treatment plans for resident care in the areas of:
- Ambulation
- Range of motion
- Activities of daily living
- Positioning and alignment
- Skin integrity and wound management
- Contracture management
- Bowel and bladder training
- Rehabilitative and social dining
- Strengthening and restraint reduction
- Weekly and monthly height and weight monitoring
Dementia Care
The Westwood Village Nursing and Rehabilitation staff is trained in activities of daily living and social activities to successfully work with the unique needs of our residents with dementia. Enriching the lives of our memory-impaired residents enriches the lives of us all.
Diabetes Management
We are unique in that we are a Kosher Facility providing Kosher meals to our patients, and are a big part of the Jewish Community. Our experienced nurses provide help with all aspects of managing diabetes including:
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Insulin administration and tracking
- Exercise planning
- Menu planning
- Education and more
